General Labourer

Job description:

Baymag Inc., an industrial mineral company specializing in the production and international marketing of Magnesium Oxide, is accepting applications for a General Labourer for our open pit mine located near Radium Hot Springs, BC.

• The Labourer position is an entry-level position in an open pit mining environment, with potential for advancement.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate process and mobile equipment in a safe manner is a requirement.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job at all times.
• Must be a self-starter with a good employment record and able to work shift work with minimal supervision.
• Must have a high school diploma.
• Must be able to commute to Radium Hot Springs
• Work experience in an open pit mining facility is a definite asset.
• Starting rate $34.77 per hour
• Benefits include Dental care, Extended Health care, Vision care, RRSP match
• 8 & 10 hour day shifts, weekend availability
